WAWE European Championship 2024, 18th - 22nd of september was hosted by Czech Republic and the organizing team of CSWE. Mrs. Lenka Steklova and her team set best conditions to horses, riders and officials.
41 riders of 13 nations showed Working Equitation in all 4 tests regaring to the international rules of WAWE.
As well as being an extraordinary way for promoting Working Equitation, this competition was held in an exemplary manner, not only on the competition tracks where the competitive spirit was lived up to, but also outside, where a healthy camaraderie and friendship was demonstrated between the representatives of the 13 countries present.
After 4 tests, the team ranking finished with following results:

4. Germany 352 points
5. Austria 287 points
6. Switzerland 249 points
7. Sweden 230 points
8. Belgium 158 points
9. Czech Republic 148 points

The Officials Claudia Elsner Matos (President of the Judges, Portugal), Nicola Danner (Germany), Katja Weis (Switzerland), Jose Andres Benito (Spain) and Yves Manzanares (France) were responsible for the marks and had a great responsibility on their shoulders. Thank you for your professional work!
Ms. Fiona Price-Jones (Great Britain) was the Paddock Officer, supported by Ms. Darcy Henkel (Canada) in the warm up. Thank you for your great job!
Mr. Antonio Vicente (Portugal) as WAWE Delegate was responsible behind the scenes, this work is sometimes not recognized but fundamental for the success of each competition. Thank you for your perfect work and the clear guidelines to set fair conditions to everybody.
The comeptition was also supported by Doreen Atkinson (USA) and Melissa Rush (Australia), it was a pleasure to welcome you there - thank you for your help during thi event!

At the end of WAWE European Working Equitation Championship 2024, which took place with great dignity, fulfilling the objectives we had set for ourselves, WAWE would like to express its gratitude to everybody taking part in this event.

Please note this Addendums 2.0 to WAWE Regulation 2024, regarding Sponsor Logos on clothing and horse equipment:
as Working Equitation is a discipline with traditional and cultural background, WAWE board set following rule for Sponsor logos on clothing and horse equipment outside and on the competition track:
Logos of manufacturers on clothing and horse equipment on the competition track:
Helmets: the logo of the manufacturer is allowed.
Outerwear: discreet logos of the manufacturer are allowed on breast pockets or sleeves.
Riding pants and gloves: discreet logos of the manufacturer are allowed, as long as they dont disturb the overall appearance.
Horse equipment: the standard logos of the manufacturer of bridles, shine guards, bandages, bell boots, fly hats, in a small size that doesn´t disturb the overall appearance, are allowed.
Saddle pads: Visible embroidery of manufactorers on saddlepads are not allowed.
Maximum sizes for FLAGS of each athlete´s nationality:
Collar and breast pocket: max. 16cm²
Helmets: max. 40cm²
On one side of the jacket/outerwear: max. 80cm²
On one side of the saddle pad: max. 200cm²

23 Masters competed 28th june - 30th june 2024 in Cascais, Portugal. International WAWE judges Claudia Elsner Matos, Jose Andres Benito and Yves Manzanares were responsible to judge masters level.
