Pre-Agreement of understanding with Chile

WAWE has signed a pre-agreement of understanding with the Chilean Federation of Horse Breeders (FCCRCh). This Association will be responsible for the development of Working Equitation in Chile, so that a protocol of understanding can be signed in the medium term.
We intend to give all the support so that our sport can grow there, we wish the FCCRCh the best of luck in successfully carrying out this important task.

WAWE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP 2024

The organizers of the 2024 european championship have informed us that, due to difficulties in finding accommodation in the area on the previously scheduled date, the championship will have to be held at the previously indicated location (Lowe, Czech Republic) from:
18 to 22 September 2024

WAWE course for int. judge candidates

WAWE promoted a course for international judges candidates for Working Equitation for countries that don't have international judges, which was given by the head of the Judges Training, Dr. Claudia Matos.

Candidates from Australia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Poland and the United States attended.

The following attendees were promoted as international WAWE judges’ candidates:

                - Doreen Atkinson (USA)

                - Maggie Cappon (Aus)

                - Tine Geudens (Bel)

which WAWE congratulates and wishes all the success and commitment to pursue the path defined by the regulations to be recognized as international judges, in a near future.

We would also like to thank the Royal Spanish Equestrian Federation and especially international judge Jose Andrés Benito for organizing these important days for the growth and correct dissemination of the discipline around the world.

WAWE - in cooperation with Feira do Cavalo de Ponte de Lima - had the honor to host the world championship 2023 for juniors and young riders. 28 riders from 10 nations showed great sport in four tests. Dressage, Maneability, Speedtest and Cowtrail for team rankings - Dressage, Maneability and Speedtest for individual results. It was a pleasure to see the passion and teamwork inbetween all nations, riders, officials and horses. These young riders are the future of our sport!
 
After four exciting days of workig equitation, Nicole Silva (POR) with her horse "Inca" are the new world champions in juniors and young riders level. Afonso Resina Antunes (POR) as new vice-champion on 2nd place, Lara Carreira (POR) on 3rd place at the podium. Ranking of the teams: 1. Portugal, 2. Spain, 3. Italy, 4. Colombia, 5.
