WAWE competitions 2025

WAWE 1*, 2** and 3*** events!
It is with great pleasure and honour that we announce the number of stars, with which WAWE competition organisers have been awarded for their work during the 2025 season. The number of stars will be added to the international calendar and count for the 2026 season.
After each WAWE event, reports from the president of the jury and a selected rider are submitted and evaluated by WAWE.
The points earned, combined with the requirements for organisers, are then converted into stars.
WAWE events are divided in to 3 categories for the world rankings, the results of each horse and rider combination are calculated as follows:
1* events, coefficient 1
2** events, coefficient 1.1
3*** events, coefficient 1.2
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all organisers, their staff and sponsors for the work and effort to continuing setting a high standard for all riders and horses!
Many thanks to all officials and selected riders, who have filled the reports after each competition.

Thank you Mr. Aldo Capovilla

WAWE would like to say thank you to a very special person!
Some time ago, a great man of our sport decided to retire from active work.
At WAWE general assembly, this request was taken into consideration and we would now like to publish a statement on this matter, full of respect and gratitude.
Thank you to Mr. Aldo Capovilla, once a founding member of WAWE, for his decades of dedication to working equitation. Through his efforts and teamwork, he and his colleagues have contributed enormously to establish the sport worldwide.
From a once unknown equestrian discipline, working equitation has now earned respect and prestige in the equestrian world. None of this would have been possible without the voluntary work of the founding members.
Mr. Capovilla has also served as vice president of WAWE world federation over the years. He was either as judge or representative at every championship and major event.
We owe him a lot - it was not only his work that was important— the friendship over the decades, the trust, and the mutual respect have contributed to a solid foundation for WAWE.
Thank you for all your dedication, efforts, and the time you have sacrificed for us.
We hope to see you again at our events and will always have a place of honor on the competition tribunes for you!
THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, DEAR ALDO!!
